Back into October
Here's a reverse synopsis of what we did this October. It has been one busy month!
Enjoying the beautiful weather! What a wonderful month! We've endured the busy schedule and try to continue to focus on what's MOST important... Family! Johnny had an excellent last soccer game (they won!), Ella loves dance class, and I'm busy going to school full time. Adam also turned 31! These moments seem to fly by so fast.

Sweet Weekend
We had a very sweet weekend as our baby niece and nephew came to stay with us for two nights. They were the best little munchkins...so well-behaved and delightful. On account of their arrival, we weren't able to make it to the ZooWalk, but we did exceed our donation goal! Many thanks to my mom and Ella's preschool families for their generous donations!

ZooWalk for Autism Research 2009
Zoowalk is this Saturday if anyone is interested. This is a free walk around the zoo (approximately 1 mile...strollers welcome). If you would like to join our team or donate, please feel free to call or email Adam or me. Our goal this year is $100 to support research for treatments like nutrition and supplements for autistic individuals. We will begin our walk around 7:30am. The weather will be gorgeous! Last year, there were thousands of people and it was overwhelming how many families support autism research.
Autism grows.
Now, 1 in 91 girls and
1 in 58 boys has autism.

John's Twin
John reached in his mouth yesterday and pulled out a chunk of tooth. "This been bothering me," he said. I was shocked and looked into the back of his mouth and saw a giant lump of bleeding gums. "AAAHHHH!!!"
We made an appointment and went to the dentist this morning. I thought for sure he broke his tooth and had an abscess.
It turns out John's six year molar is coming in. After x-rays, the dentist realized this piece of tooth was a whole separate piece of extra enamel and tooth his body grew. It popped through the gums Sunday while his molar is still trying to come out.
The dentist, the hygienist, and I sat amazed at this little piece of the human body.
"IT'S HIS TWIN!!" I said.

Conference Saturday
John and Ella were sick today so it was an even better weekend to hang around and watch church conference. We were very lazy. My dad came by and visited. OH! And John is officially WITHOUT FRONT TEETH!
