Ella had an allergic reaction to amoxicillin this week. It gave us such a scare because she came into our room Tuesday morning saying she had "itchy buggy bites".
When I looked at her, every inch was covered in hives- her face, ears, legs...and they kept spreading.
She couldn't walk because the hives were on the bottoms of her feet and in the palms of her hands.
The rash is almost gone after the doctors doubled up her prednisone, antihistamines...and lots of oatmeal baths. The prednisone is making her VERY moody/hyper but we're just glad she's ok.
Ella wanted me to take the polka dots off of her and throw them in the trash.
