TAG...UGLY PHOTO CHALLENGE

I'll be checking your blogs.

Profiles

I was sitting on the couch a few days ago and looked beside me. John and Ella were gazing at the T.V. Suddenly I realized how similar their profiles were. Almost identical! I just had to take this picture and admire.

Princess

The life of a princess... Ella loves wearing her princess dresses all over the house. She wears them to the grocery stores too. I have to say, despite her usually messy hair and sometimes un-lady-like "toots", she IS a princess through and through.

New Door

We had an eventful 4th of July. While Adam was weed whacking a rock hit our 8 foot tall arcadia door window. It shattered into a million pieces.
We debated our options and decided to buy the french doors we've been wanting. For the cost of replacing the glass we thought it was better to get a more energy efficient door.
Thank goodness for Adam's bother Devin! He came over and worked ALL day helping Adam get the door in.

Devin was the brains today! We couldn't have done it without him.

Here's Adam and John putting on the doorknobs. Now we just have to cut the trim and finish it off. I was very impressed with the "G.B." brotherly teamwork. It looks nice doesn't it?

Ella's Dentist Appointment

The dentist and hygienists had to hold Ella down in order to clean her teeth today. It was quite an eventful morning. She screamed and cried the whole time and the entire office was watching the whole thing. Ella was very angry that I left her in the hands of these women. I have to say though, they were very professional and great with her. Ella needed firm women to let her know we ALL need to get our teeth cleaned. I was grateful for the opportunity to have her teeth taken care of.

The dentist told us Ella has enamel hypoplasia attributed to a complication during my pregnancy with her. John and Ella were both small newborns and I had a hard time gaining weight during the pregnancies. I'm thinking this is the problem. I also know there are connections with low weight infants and autism.

We're just so grateful our kids thriving and becoming wonderful contributions to the world. We are SO SO blessed.

For now, Ella will need to continue taking her supplements and we'll need to watch her teeth carefully. Thank you West Valley Pediatric Dentistry!
